It supports the R&D team and their go-to-market counterparts in Sales and Marketing to improve alignment, communications, and processes around the product.
We are looking for an individual who can help a growing team operate efficiently and support the rest of the functions to maximize the value out of the Product function.
Responsibilities:
Develop and drive intake and prioritization processes for new product development initiatives and feature requests. Serve as the primary point of contact for global enterprise customers from a program/product perspective to ensure that planning, execution, expectation setting, cross functional alignment are attained, and it leads to accelerated and predictable product releases. Apply systems and planning mentality, seeking to streamline our product processes and driving product team’s efficiency in terms of throughput, minimizing churn or reactive fire drills. Work cross functionally, with other departments, including but not limited to, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure that the strategic and operational plans/initiatives are achieved. Provide effective cross functional project management duties, including overseeing initiative completion timelines, monitoring and communicating progress, and helping to remove any obstacles. Work with the executive team to break down company OKRs into functional goals. Support with the establishment of individual goals & metrics within the Product team, and monitor progress. Set up the measurement and reporting structure for product releases and the process for keeping key stakeholders informed about impacts on their key functions. Manage product documentation structure as a reliable resource for the teams. Create and manage information architecture for all written resources and documentation. Work closely with various operations counterparts around the world to execute launches and go-to-market strategy. Improve our processes; we are constantly learning and improving, and you will help make our product development process more effective. Serve as a mentor, guide, and help with the growth of the team members.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements
7+ years’ experience working cross functionally with product, tech, and non-tech teams ideally with experience in product management A solid track record in product operations operations, product management, program management, management consulting, enterprise portfolio program management or similar experience Comfortable interacting with executives, even when it means pushing back on what may not make sense Thrive on ambiguity, problem solving have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about risks, challenges, and opportunities. Excellent communication skills and experience working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong project management skills (certification preferred). Experience with agile software development and management of agile teams. People management experience. BA/BS degree, MBA preferred or comparable experience.
