Engineering at Duffel

We're a small team working on a user facing product beyond our API. We build the products travel booking companies use to search and sell flights. These products are yet to be modernised so we've a huge opportunity to build beautiful interfaces for businesses using Duffel, in a way they've not experienced before. We truly believe we can set a new standard with this.

The tools used on the team include React, Node, NextJS and Typescript.

What we're looking for in you

• Experience building beautiful, clean and intuitive products with React.
• A customer led approach to your work. You understand and empathise with customers, advocate for their needs and ensure we're building the right solutions to their problems.
• A high bar for code quality and user experience.
• Opinions on what good engineering standards and processes look like as we define ours at Duffel.
• Big picture thinking - you can make trade offs on technical work streams against business impact.
• Fantastic communication skills. You're able to articulate what you're working on and why to the team in a clear and structured way.
• You thrive in a collaborative environment. You believe in your own methods but keep an open mind, taking suggestions and feedback onboard as well.
