Description
This role reports directly to the VP Growth. As Legacy's Director of Growth, you will focus on regularly launching new experiments to identify, scale, and improve acquisition, conversion, and engagement channels. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and manage a team, think creatively, and make big bets.
Key Responsibilities
Create a growth strategy that scales our business that scales traffic, customer acquisition, and conversion rates through channels like social media, search, affiliate, and email.
Campaign planning and briefing, optimizing performance across the funnel customer journey.
Leading, managing, and growing a team of 5 performance marketers.
Collaborating and developing strategic initiatives with product team to scale user growth.
Partnering with VP Marketing, brand team, and design team to launch on brand 360 marketing campaigns.
Requirements
7-10 years in growth, or performance marketing related role.
Ability to be am effective player-coach. This role requires hands on growth marketing while mentoring a talented performance marketing team.
Deep understanding of social media, search, email, and other digital ad buying platforms.
Data driven and creative. A combination of left and right brain. We need someone who has worked with performance channels before to they understand things like ROAS, while simultaneously being creative and resourceful to develop and deploy assets including copy and simple design work.
High growth startup experience required. We're looking for someone who has played a key role on a marketing or growth team that has scaled revenue to $50M per year.
First 90 Days
Speak to 10 customers, and analyze owned data to intimately understand our customers.
Audit existing performance channels and determine opportunities for improvement.
Take ownership over growth strategy, team management. Begin iterating on growth strategy to make it your own.
Launch, and scale traffic generation, user acquisition, and referral based experiments with growth team.
