Sr. Associate, FP&A

In this role, you will help build out our Corporate FP&A activities - annual planning, budgeting/forecasting, reporting and variance analyses. You will own our financial forecast model and design a metric-driven approach to monitoring company performance as we scale rapidly.

The successful candidate is someone who is a utility player - comfortable with ambiguity, operates with an ownership mindset and is excited to roll-up your sleeves as we build Cambly’s FP&A function from the ground-up. We seek versatile thinkers who can structure and analyze a variety of business problems and consistently operate with a bias towards action. This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with excellent attention to detail, the ability to quantitatively model scenarios at an expert level and a desire to grow as a leader.

Some challenges you'll tackle

• Deliver monthly/quarterly analysis and reporting of key business and financial metrics to leadership
• Support the annual planning and budget processes, including maintaining the company’s multi-year P&L and financial model, both for revenue and expenses
• Partner with Head of FP&A to implement new financial systems and processes that deliver timely and accurate forecasts, financial planning consolidations, and tracking of key investments and performance metrics
• Perform ad hoc analysis including, but not limited to, growth and profitability scenarios, volume and mix analysis, and sensitivity analysis across a broad spectrum of variables
• Build models to evaluate new growth opportunities - e.g., geographic expansion, product categories, marketing channels, etc
• Work closely with the Data Team to define metrics, automate reporting and unlock insights on business performance

You should have

• B.A. or B.S. from an accredited four-year college or university
• 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced FP&A / Strategic Finance role
• Excitement to help build the foundation of a Corporate FP&A function in a rapidly growing business 
• Advanced Excel modeling skills; proficiency with SQL and data visualization tools or a willingness to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization, juggle multiple priorities, and drive towards action
• An innate curiosity and ability to seamlessly move from intricate details to big picture, proactively developing a point of view on problems or challenges as they surface 
• Nimble mindset - our business is growing and evolving quickly, you’ll need to too
