Position Overview

The Security Operations Center (SOC) is the communications hub for all security and safety needs. The SOC Analysts are responsible for access control, service requests, alarm monitoring, investigation, emergency response, escalation, deployment and notification. The SOC Analyst performs A.I. assisted alarm response and escalation, working with internal and external teams and must ensure that all actions taken, information given, and information received are documented appropriately. 

Responsibilities

• Answer all forms of communications including, but not limited to, phone, e-mail, text, radio, etc.
• Analyze both raw and processed security event data to identify potential security incidents, threats and vulnerabilities.
• Communicate effectively with the internal and external teams at the facility to assure business continuity. 
• Monitor and respond to notifications and alarms from all sources in a timely fashion.
• Interface with and at times manage others in a highly professional setting. 
• Reporting of issues or events utilizing appropriate tools. 
• Address security/emergency or other critical operations appropriately. Contacting and communicating with local or remote Emergency Services providers. 
• Research threats and establish response and best practice for site specific operations.
• Document and report incidents or issues related but not limited to security and safety.
• Work with internal engineering teams to assist in data collection and product testing.
• Establish efficient workflows and practices for new tools based on the evolving needs and capabilities.
