About the role
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to take ownership of DevOps responsibilities in order to create best practices for new products as well as enforce cross-team consistency. Our Platform Engineer will
Extend and manage our complete CI/CD pipeline, automating repeated tasks on a priority basis
Migrate our infrastructure management into reviewable, easy to maintain infrastructure-as-code definitions such as Terraform or similar.
Collaborate with our engineering teams and ensure infrastructure consistency across projects
About you
Background in building systems to solve problems
Driven to automate everything possible
Interest in leading the devops function
Strong desire to take on responsibility
Opinionated and enthusiastic about devops
Experience
Has built a devops function or experience being on an early stage devops team
Experience with GCP, especially App Engine and GKE
Experience deduplicating work across a large engineering organization - a candidate who was on a devops team at a company with 40 engineers would probably be a better candidate than someone who was lead devops on a team of 10
Compensation
$150 - $170k + Stock options
