Summary
Burrow is seeking a Manager of Growth Marketing Analytics & Insight to join our E-commerce and Digital Marketing team. We are continuing a period of rapid product line and category expansion as we focus 2022 on completing our transition from digitally-native living room company to an omnichannel wall-to-wall home furnishings brand – all in the name of our mission: making it radically easier to settle in. Achieving that objective is dependent on rapidly learning and mining insights to catalyze growth, democratize data and information across the company, and scope and prioritize key initiatives. Reporting to the VP, E-Commerce and Digital Marketing, the Manager, Growth Marketing Analytics & Insights will play a pivotal role in advancing and enabling company-wide intelligence to power our growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Empower the Marketing & Creative team with weekly performance reporting and insights
- Catalyze Growth through demand-side data aggregation, distillation, and analysis including, but not limited to:
- Expose insights in both structured and unstructured marketing data sets
- Build, learn from and report on product-level and category-level engagement and conversion funnels
- Break down promotional performance and influence promotional architecture optimization
- Analyze outbound and onsite creative performance
- Enrich customer-level intelligence to improve personalization, acquisition, and retention
- Join multiple data sets at the customer, segment and cohort levels to build and maintain rich, actionable customer personas, and uncover persona-specific insights to inform product, creative and growth tactics
- Empower interdepartmental teams with foundational data and insights upon which to build customer-centric initiatives, including product development, UI/UX improvement, and retention programs
- Inform & influence broader strategic initiatives, including:
- New product/category development, retail siting, pricing, bundling, and annual planning
- Communicate trends, insights and plans at both strategic and granular levels
Job requirements
- B.S. in Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics or other highly quantitative focus
- 4+ years of related data analytics experience
- 2-3 years of eCommerce / Marketing experience
- 3-4 years of experience as a BI Analyst/Associate, Data Analyst/Associate, or Management Consultant
- Expert in Microsoft Excel
- Expert in SQL
- Understanding of fundamental statistical methods and testing for statistical significance
- Extensive experience with Business Intelligence (Looker, etc.) and Data Visualization (Tableau, etc.) Tools
Bonus Points:
- Involvement in the selection and implementation of data visualization tools and technologies
- Experience with Python, Google Analytics, BigQuery, SQL Databases, No-SQL Databases, and “R”
