Position Overview

Instawork is looking for a data-driven, intelligent and driven professional to join our team as a Mid-Enterprise Area Sales Manager.  While leading a team of our AEs and Senior AEs, you will help to drive new business acquisition and expand our customer base. This is a high-energy sales leadership role requiring proven sales ability and experience motivating teams to achieve excellence, while helping to close high profile deals and growing accounts. Your goal is to create more raving fanatics of Instawork and ensure that we become the staffing and hiring solution of choice for our partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coach and empower your team to proactively prospect, qualify, and build sales pipeline

-Enable the team to win business and navigate complex organizations and negotiations

  • Provide senior deal support when needed to win as a team

-Onboard and ramp new Account Executives and accelerate their ability to be productive

  • Accurately forecast and represent your business to the executive team

  • Develop and execute initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders in the wider Instawork org, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Engineering

  • Have a strong understanding of the Instawork platform to provide guidance on prospects, value propositions, and strategy

  • Enhance and create adoption for Instawork’s sales playbook within your team

  • Develop and enable the next generation of sales leaders

  • Share learnings and best practices across the entire company

  • Be a company builder 

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience building and managing highly successful and talented remote software sales teams

  • 5+ years experience of quota-exceeding experience selling mid-enterprise deals

  • The ability to manage multiple stakeholder deal cycles

-A track record of overachievement and hitting sales targets

  • Demonstrated success with managing an outbound sales team in all areas of the sales cycle

  • Passionate about coaching, mentorship and team management

-Motivated by helping people grow with a desire to continually refine their own professional skills

  • A self-starter with the ability to work in a high-growth, rapidly changing marketplace

-Have the ability to learn quickly and establish credibility

  • Great candidates are self-aware and have high emotional intelligence

  • Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the Instawork mission, values and product.
