Principal Product Operations Manager

Bitrise is looking for a Product Operations leader to support the Product and Engineering organizations on EMEA time zone. You will play a key part in implementing processes, reporting on key initiatives, and aligning with supporting organizations. The goal is to accelerate software delivery while maintaining focus on the customer and supporting the business objectives. You will also support the CPO and VP Engineering who are located in the Bay Area, California, to ensure they are immediately ready to hit the ground running when they start on their time zone. You are a well organized individual with a customer and business mindset, that can articulate effectively via narratives and work asynchronously with global teams.

As our Product Operations Manager at Bitrise you will

• Support the development of organizational goals and the automation to track them
• Weekly update with dashboard on progress
• Surface important and urgent issues that should be tackled to unblock progress
• Ensure each team is following processes and taking action to update their artifacts to enable automated tracking
• Capture notes and action items on key activities during the day for CPO and VP Engineering to be able to immediately hit the ground running when they start their day
• Implement and maintain processes to accelerate the performance of the product organization
• Drive alignment on standard artifacts used in SDLC process to facilitate capture of performance metrics and improvement on them to accelerate release velocity, definition of key performance metrics
• Develop a robust and scalable mechanism for online/distributed team collaboration
• Own the development and maintenance of product organization portal to ensure continuous alignment across team members and between departments
• Posting of regular updates
• Organized collateral that is easy to find, groomed for recency
• Facilitate cross-team deliverable creation and maintenance
• Updated external and internal portfolio roadmaps
• QBR and OKR presentations
• Assist in the organization of internal trainings
• Partner with GTM teams to ensure alignment on releases

Key skills and characteristics

* You have previous experience in Product Operations, Program Management, Chief of Staff, Product Management, or similar role

• You care how the product and engineering organizations scales and how efficiently each team member operates to achieve the desired customer and business results
• Have great written and verbal communication skills to capture and communicate progress, decisions, and trade-offs
• Exceptional project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and independently
• Can develop an effective cross-department collaboration model
• Experienced in partnering with and bringing into alignment global teams at all levels of the organization
• Experience in building strong partnerships with product, design, research, data, and engineering teams
• Strong in developing qualitative & quantitative arguments to prioritize the problems to address
• Experience with JIRA and JIRA’s reporting capabilities required
