As a Renewals Manager, you will be responsible for owning and executing a large portfolio of renewal contracts. Your primary focus as Renewals Manager will be managing customer renewals to maximize retention, identify expansion opportunities, and drive a high degree of customer satisfaction, while maximizing the financial results of Fountain. You will be joining the renewals team from the ground level, so should be driven and scrappy.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute win/win negotiation strategies for account contract renewals that maximize contract value while protecting and enhancing customer trust
  • Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to fully understand and develop a clear renewal strategy for each customer based on data-driven decisions
  • Discover and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities to maximize customer growth, working collaboratively with your Account Executive in the process 
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Fountain’s software and business models to provide both sales and customers assistance in contract discussions
  • Closely monitor customer health metrics to identify risks early. Develop risk mitigation strategies and guide appropriate actions with partner teams
  • Accurately maintain/update information to track renewal timings, status, and other key metrics to run an efficient renewal process

What you should bring:

  • 3-5 years of experience in SaaS renewals management, account management, or sales 
  • Strong experience with SaaS renewals
  • A value-based approach to working with customers to craft a clear value-centered narrative about how Fountain is helping their business 
  • Strong negotiation skills - always aiming mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Ability to connect the dots organizationally and influence stakeholders from various roles, levels, and profiles to drive collaboration and program excellence 
  • Demonstrable success in thinking strategically, executing tactically while providing consistent and high levels of customer satisfaction and retention in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Excel, Google Sheets, and/or Looker preferred
