What you'll be doing:

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source toolsIdentify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Contribute to release timelines with testing estimation, prioritization, and bug tracking
• Participate in the whole lifecycle of software development from planning to release
• Collaborate with product managers, engineer managers, engineers, and business owners on building efficient and effective ways to perform manual and automated testing
• Own end to end feature testing and test strategies
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

What you should bring:

• Solid problem solving skills
• Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Tech savvy, detail oriented, and highly driven
• A genuine passion for engineering high-quality solutions
• Deep understanding of Engineering Processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Relevant formal education, including BSCS or MSCS
