We’re looking for Senior Infrastructure Engineers with experience in Cloud (AWS, Azure) and Infrastructure automation that are passionate about performance, reliability and efficiency. Experience creating and maintaining highly scalable and fault tolerant multi-tier AWS and Azure environments spanning across multiple availability zones using Terraform. As an integral member of the Infrastructure and Operations team you will work closely with our product development and QA teams in the full lifecycle of our SDLC. Leading the architectural strategy and implementation efforts for IaaS-hosted workloads and products in the cloud while optimizing them where possible.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead continual improvement in the availability, performance, functionality and security of our offering in collaboration with software engineers
• Reduce lead-time for infrastructure delivery, changes in Cloud by using smart automation and self-service platforms
• Collaborate with various groups within Fountain to establish standard operating procedures and best practices that help achieve a balance between security, agility and cost-effectiveness
• Pursue complex development, automation, and business process problems
• Take part in blameless Root Cause Analyses
• Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
• Provide Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problem
• Isolate and resolve of hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof
• Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of collection systems
• Provide technical leadership in the rollout of new Cloud features and offerings
• Participate in 24x7 on call rotation
• Build a robust infrastructure monitoring and alerting platform including microservice availability, resource utilization always ensuring an optimal end user experience.

What you should bring:

• Extensive SDLC experience with some development or systems programming experience
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mid-tier/infrastructure issues
• Experience using Terraform as an infrastructure provisioning tool
• Ability to implement effective strategies for both Cloud and On-premises environments. Experience in dealing with Unix/Linux and Windows server administration
• Ability to write Infrastructure as a code (IaC) in Terraform, Azure resource management, AWS Cloud formation
• Ability to create reusable Terraform modules in both Azure and AWS cloud environments
• Experience with Terraform Templates to automate the Azure Iaas virtual machines using terraform modules and deployed virtual machine scale sets in production environments
• Worked in conjunction with multiple teams to make sure that the infrastructure and product applications work harmoniously together
• Diverse experience with at least two public cloud providers (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with kubernetes and helm
• Considerable experience with Linux operating systems, networking, security, compliance, etc
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (new relic, splunk, prometheus, etc)
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills
