Position Overview
Ambient.ai is looking for an India-based Data Analysis and Verification Analyst (20-40h/week). The role encompasses two tasks, and time will be split roughly evenly between them:
Security Operations Center (SOC)

Analyze both raw and processed real-time physical security event data to identify potential security incidents, threats and vulnerabilities

Monitor and respond to notifications and alarms from all sources in near real-time

Document and report incidents or issues related but not limited to security and safety

Work with internal engineering teams to assist in data collection and product testing

Answer all forms of communications including phone, e-mail, text, slack, etc.
Data Analysis and Annotation

Support the growth of Ambient.ai’s computer vision datasets

Recognize and label objects and people in images using annotation tools such as Supervisely

Evaluate data and provide recommendations to the engineering team regarding the quality and diversity of the provided datasets
Requirements and Skills
- Stable high-speed internet connection
- Proficiency in English
- Communicate effectively with the internal teams to assure business continuity
- Reliable team player who can commit to and fill a post for a mutually agreed schedule within the 24/7 SOC operation
- Basic familiarity with UNIX and the command line
- Basic familiarity with Python is a plus
- Prior experience with Supervisely and data annotation is a plus
