Success Operations Analyst
About the role

Alpaca builds a developer API that allows apps and developers globally to launch commission-free stock trading apps. Our platform also offers a developer-friendly community and platform for traders to programmatically trade stocks with ease. Of course, we are very enthusiastic about open source contribution and community building!
We’re looking for a data-driven individual who will help identify and drive the necessary changes to maximize efficiency and results in Developer Success. As a success operations analyst, you will be helping build the infrastructure to help the Developer Success organization scale effectively.
Job Responsibilities
- Be in charge of API design (consistency, logicalness, ease of use, etc)
- Be in charge of documenting API easily consumable way
- Work with cross functional teams to make sure the API features are communicated to the developers
- Build out tutorial, interactive demos, knowledge centers, educational materials
- Converse with developers as the product specialist to help them (working with the support team)
- Converse with developers to understand their needs, system/business requirements and reflect them to the future API development
- Ideate developer contents and manage open source softwares as well as code snippets
- Perform acceptance/user testing and be responsible for the delivered feature quality
- Write specs and documentation (for internal users) of the (being) delivered features
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Industry experience or strong interest in the FinTech landscape and investing.
- Strong listening skills; open to input from other team members and departments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as excellent organisational skills.
- Constantly learning and studying.
- Ability to break down ambiguous, complex problems into concrete, manageable components and think through optimal solutions.
- Analytical mindset combined with intuition for the needs of the customer.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Teamwork, good communication, and internal partnership skills are a must.
- Takes a high degree of ownership over the outcomes of their work
