We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join Fountain as we continue to grow our Finance team. This individual will primarily serve as the FP&A Business Partner for the R&D and Product teams and will manage opex reporting and forecasting, gross margin analysis and the continued headcount growth across the company. This is an opportunity to partner closely with leadership to manage COGS and gross margin planning, a key focus of Fountain as we grow our product and customer base rapidly. This role reports to the Sr. FP&A Manager and will be a key member of the FP&A team with increasing responsibility and exposure as Fountain grows.

This role will require problem-solving skills and diving into the details. The ideal candidate works well independently, excels in communicating financial concepts to a non-financial audience, and enjoys collaborating with a diverse set of people and talents across the organization in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Become the primary FP&A point of contact to R&D, Product and People business partners
• Own COGS and opex line items in monthly reporting pack with MoM, QoQ and YoY variance analysis and trend discussion
• Engage with stakeholders on how to save costs and create efficiencies
• Establish financial KPIs and tracking for supported business units
• Work with business partners and Recruiting to create a global hiring plan
• Develop and maintain KPI reporting agreed upon by Finance and leadership
• Contribute to monthly leadership package and board reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to explore and onboard new vendors
• Assist in ad-hoc analysis as needed

What you should bring:

• 3-5 years of FP&A experience, ideally at a high-growth, pre-IPO SaaS company
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or related work experience
• Familiarity with fees and variables of content delivery network and incident response software; hosting platforms; SMS & social messaging costs; embedded analytics platforms
• Experience with Financial and ERP software such as Netsuite, Sage Intaact, Quickbooks, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan or similar tools
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Presentation skills (also comfortable working within Google Sheets and Slides)
• Experience working to evaluate and negotiate vendor pricing and contracts
• Eagerness to work in a rapidly-changing startup environment
• Excellent communicator and collaborator across multiple departments and practices a service-oriented business partnering approach
