Apollo is looking for an Engineering Manager specifically aligned to our engineering efforts targeting users managing federated Data Graphs at scale. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and executing an engineering strategy focused on graph schema creation and composition, and on both the open source tools that enable product developers to adopt the Data Graph, but also on assisting the SaaS features that enable teams to better collaborate with each other building multi-team, large federated graphs.

We have tier 1 backing from Andreessen Horowitz, Matrix Partners, and Insight Capital, and recently raised our Series D at a 1.5 billion dollar valuation. With millions of downloads per week of our open source products, we’re on an incredible trajectory, and in this role you’ll be doing the instrumental, foundational strategic work enabling tens of thousands of teams around the world to produce their graphs and connect them.

Our next-gen technology is used in production by some of today's largest and most innovative companies, including Netflix, Expedia, Peloton, DoorDash, The New York Times, Zillow and many more. What You'll Do

Collaborate with Director of Engineering, product management, and Program Management on cross-cutting strategic product and infrastructure objectives Coach, mentor, and lead a team of engineers working on one of Apollo’s most high-profile and complex featuresets Lead delivery within the Federation core featureset, establishing and executing to KPI’s Drive alignment on cross-cutting initiatives Work with engineering leadership, management peers, and product management to align engineering outcomes with product strategy Who You Are
