About the role

About Panorama:
Panorama is a fast-growing national technology company focused on radically improving education. More than 1,500 school systems serving 15 million students across all 50 states have adopted our platform to understand students’ academic and social-emotional strengths and to identify those in need of additional support. School systems turn to our suite of tools to ensure that every child gets the support they need, including school climate and social-emotional learning surveys, tiered intervention planning, and professional development.

Panoramians can choose to work fully remote anywhere within the Continental United States, in-person from our Boston/San Francisco offices, or a hybrid option.

About the Role:

Panorama’s Revenue Team is looking for an Education Advisor (K-12) who can aid our client-facing teams in better understanding the K-12 education landscape, and illustrate clearly how Panorama’s products are used on the ground in districts and school buildings each day.

You will create internal professional development resources for our Revenue Team members, geared at furthering their understanding of topics such as MTSS, social-emotional learning, school climate, family engagement as well as the internal dynamics of school districts.

While much of the time spent in this role will be preparing and delivering internal training, you will also join sales representatives on client calls – making salient the connection between a school district’s education challenges and Panorama’s product solutions, as well as making suggestions when necessary to improve client engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and rollout of training, processes, practices, and tools to support client-facing members of the Revenue Team with product and industry knowledge
  • Identify new school climate, family engagement, SEL and MTSS approaches in K-12 education and share out during Revenue Team meetings
  • Lead strategic portions of presentations and demos, both on-site (when safe to travel again) and remotely to various stakeholders including Superintendents, Directors and Board members
  • Develop talk-tracks and question-sets for sales representatives that demonstrate an understanding of the challenges that K-12 district administrators face.
  • Perform market research and intelligence gathering to establish and build presence  in emerging sectors within elementary and secondary education
  • Interface regularly with officials at local school districts and state education department to initiate and foster mutually beneficial relationships

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • 3+ years as a school district administrator or district leadership experience in the following departments: Student Services/Support, Curriculum & Instruction
  • Proficiency managing projects from start to finish in order to hit deadlines
  • Experience with the creation of multimodal internal resources to support training, onboarding, and professional development
  • Ability to create differentiated content that meets the needs of Revenue Team members with different levels of experience
  • Comfort with growing a team and a department from the ground up
  • Experience developing multimodal resources including, but not limited to, print, audio, and video content
  • Experience with a Learning Management System

Panorama excitedly hosts two in-person "all team meetings" a year. All Panoramians attend and travel/hotels are provided. (Paused due to Covid)
