As Senior Manager of People Ops at Replit, you will:

  • Help design and implement our people operations programs, processes, and policies that will effectively scale with the company
  • Own the management of Replit’s People systems and tech stack end to end - from initial launch to system changes and troubleshooting
  • Partner with our Recruiting team to ensure smooth candidate-to-employee onboarding experience
  • Craft and lead our company-wide compensation, benefits, and perks programs strategy using data-backed insights and analysis
  • Incubate a people analytics and insights function - yay dashboards!
  • Create systems to answer employee day-to-day questions and changes
  • Support our high performing and quirky culture
  • Manage compliance such as worker’s comp, trainings, and reporting
  • Compensation and benefits planning and transitions

You qualify for the position if:

  • Launched and managed employee life cycle and HR platforms (e.g., maintaining employee data, compliance, onboarding/offboarding, people analytics, etc).
  • Teammates of yours have described you as ‘forward thinking’, ‘reliable’, and ‘cares deeply’. They trust you, and you build long-term relationships.
  • Experience “0 to 1” - creating and setting up people policies and systems at a growing company
  • Generally knowledgeable on employment compliance and lawComfort in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities

Bonus points include:

  • Experience in a very rapidly growing startup
  • Passion for expanding technical literacy
  • Experience supporting a multi-state or global employee base
  • Professional human capital related certification (i.e. PHR/SPHR)

Why you should join Replit

We're building a first of its kind developer platform that can be used to learn and practice programming, build and deploy applications, and share and discuss with a community of peers. We realize this is an ambitious plan, but we think it's high time someone built this. There is no good reason for the insane fragmentation in programming tools today -- someone learning to code needs to learn at least ten disjointed tools and platforms to do anything interesting with programming.
